definition of the types of recycling are illustrated. In addition we illustrate the method of
waste-to-energy, which presents a very positive way to dispose of waste. Unfortunately
no one method can prove completely effective, but perhaps through every possible way of
disposing of waste, we can see the future in a more positive light in regards to refuse.

probably the country’s a most notorious and infamous hazardous
waste site. It was not the first, it was not the worst, but it
did grab headlines, draw attention, and stimulated scientists,
industrial leaders, politicians, government officials, and
grassroots activists. The Love Canal problem was uncovered nearly
thirty years ago, however, the impact of the damage done in the
area, the expense and personal anguish, the fact that much of the
land was determined to be completely unsafe for human habitation
has stayed in America’s consciousness as an example of how far a
